Kind Stranger,

I met this beautiful and kind soul after class who commented on my tattoo.  You made me think, "What if everyday we made an effort to say something nice to someone we do not know"?  This beautiful soul lightened my day and also made me think that we are all connected by this kind energy every moment and if we could stay in this flow could you imagine what the world would accomplish.  Have you ever received a compliment that stuck?  I have and I thank you! - Jennifer

Thornton, Colorado - Kind Stranger

I was at local retailer on Friday when I noticed a gentlemen who had been in line was waiting again in line by the time I got up to the cashier.  I had told him to go ahead of me and he said he would prefer to wait at the end.  He must have noticed the puzzled look on my face and said he did not want to embarrass the cashier who had forgotten to charge him for the most expensive item in his cart.  I told him that he had great Karma and that was a very kind thing to do.  He was so nice, he proceeded to tell me that most people are kind and good and would do the right thing.  I too agree with this, although there are many challenges and suffering in life I believe most people are good, it is in the face of ignorance that people make wrong decisions.  I did not have a bracelet with me so I am putting out to the universe that this thank you to the stranger I encountered will receive a kind thank you along his journey.  - Jennifer

I have had two significant kind souls share the following quote with me in the previous month.  It makes me think of how much of an impact one person can really have on another.  What if we we were conscious in every moment and encounter we had throughout our day.  What if we offered the best of who we are, our kindness, our light, I believe we could create harmony and peace to all livings things.  We could change the world to consider those without and educate those who don't understand, and love those we don't know.  I think this is what life is really about.

Thank you Universe

The project has been officially going for a week and I just had to share the transformations happening within my self.  The intention of The Global Be Kind Project was initially just an experiment between one human being to another generous and kind being, however what is happening is truly a miracle.  Wearing a bracelet has become a significant reminder to see the good in all beings.  I am noticing which is perfect time during this hustle and bustle and traffic of the Holidays that I am looking for the good.  Whether with my family, shopping at a store, sitting in a business meeting it is as if I can only see the good in others, strangers, beloved ones, all.  I wander the aisles looking for the next kind soul to enter my space so that I can thank them for their inspiration, generosity, kindness and/or sharing their inner light.  Thank you Universe for allowing me to be the initial vehicle for your truth and connecting beautiful and kind beings and showing me that way of a peaceful, loving and kind path.

This evening my hubby and I took our son out for a night of dinner and games.  We had a really amazing experience with our waiter and his manager.  Dinner was taking longer than anticipated and although we really did not notice because we were lost in conversation and a game of tick tack toe on our napkin they insisted on sharing the truth that they had dropped our tray of food in the kitchen and would insist they comp an appetizer or addition to our meal.  We were already enjoying the evening and staff was very KIND, this was a very nice and unexpected treat and we thank you!  Our waiter was already KIND and enjoyable engaged they could have easily taken advantage of our patience, however they did not.  Thank you for the truth and sharing your Kindness with us.  With much gratitude!

December 2, 2011 - Coming Together

I received the project's wristbands today and cannot wait to thank the people in my life and the people I will meet throughout my journey that have shared the one thing in life that is free, something that all beings share, and the one thing that is true and genuine: KINDNESS.  I believe we all have it, and all beings deserve it, we all have the opportunity to share our Kindness with others at any given and every given moment.  It is the seed in which PEACE starts, harmony begins and our world can connect and begin to heal, understand and work together.  We have all met people whether strangers or friends, family or foes, when time stood still and whether it was as  an elderly man helping a 9 month pregnant me with my groceries or a customer service representative that let their inner light shine in the midst of their shift, I have never forgotten these individuals and want to thank them, and maybe just maybe they will continue to spread what they started, their true and genuine authentic self and their kindness.  Thank you for sharing your inner light with the world and join me and The Global Be Kind Project in paying your KINDNESS forward across the world.  Namaste' Jennifer
