The Universe

I wanted to share a beautiful quote from www.tut.com, this is so true.  Maybe we can all send one another love more often, even if it's a thought and miles away.

Jennifer , have you ever seen a complete stranger across a room, street, or hallway, and sent them a silent, "I love you," just for the good it might do?

I have.

But then, to me, they're not really strangers.

Then again, neither are they to you.

Stranger than fiction,
    The Universe

Boulder, Colorado - Matt

Matt - In class yesterday you stated, "Kindness is the essence of who you are".  I wanted to thank you for sharing your instruction and thoughtful words in yoga.  I believe as human's, part of our experience is to provide evidence of what our core belief's are, and your reminded me that I too believe kindness is the center, it connects us, brings us together, and I appreciate you sharing your inner light and kind beliefs with your students.  Namaste' Jennifer

Broomfield, Colorado - Kind Stranger

Kind Stranger,

I met this beautiful and kind soul after class who commented on my tattoo.  You made me think, "What if everyday we made an effort to say something nice to someone we do not know"?  This beautiful soul lightened my day and also made me think that we are all connected by this kind energy every moment and if we could stay in this flow could you imagine what the world would accomplish.  Have you ever received a compliment that stuck?  I have and I thank you! - Jennifer

Broomfield, Colorado - Rob

Rob - I believe everyone on Earth is a teacher and we are all sent here to teach one another something or many things and you a true example of this.  You have created so much inspiration and and a space for myself and I am sure many others who have taken your class and/or followed your yoga instruction to true enlightenment.  You always say exactly what I need to hear and the experiences that I have been given with your instruction and inspiration, I will always be grateful.  I will look forward to following your passion and look forward to continuing to see that greatness you share with the world.  Thank you for sharing your Kindness and true self with the Universe! Namaste' Jennifer

Thornton, Colorado - Kind Stranger

I was at local retailer on Friday when I noticed a gentlemen who had been in line was waiting again in line by the time I got up to the cashier.  I had told him to go ahead of me and he said he would prefer to wait at the end.  He must have noticed the puzzled look on my face and said he did not want to embarrass the cashier who had forgotten to charge him for the most expensive item in his cart.  I told him that he had great Karma and that was a very kind thing to do.  He was so nice, he proceeded to tell me that most people are kind and good and would do the right thing.  I too agree with this, although there are many challenges and suffering in life I believe most people are good, it is in the face of ignorance that people make wrong decisions.  I did not have a bracelet with me so I am putting out to the universe that this thank you to the stranger I encountered will receive a kind thank you along his journey.  - Jennifer

Quote of the Day

I have had two significant kind souls share the following quote with me in the previous month.  It makes me think of how much of an impact one person can really have on another.  What if we we were conscious in every moment and encounter we had throughout our day.  What if we offered the best of who we are, our kindness, our light, I believe we could create harmony and peace to all livings things.  We could change the world to consider those without and educate those who don't understand, and love those we don't know.  I think this is what life is really about.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.   Emerson, Ralph Waldo

Denver, Colorado - Don

Don - You are kind, generous, fun, and all around genuine.  You are so special and you always make time to teach, share, listen and make time for great conversations.  Thank you for being an inspiration and sharing the kindness and vision of the project.  You are true and joyous and I thank you for being my friend!  - Jennifer
