Pay it Forward - Cherry Creek, Colorado

Have you ever wondered about Karma, and if you focused on your gifts and your good, observed your thoughts in such a way that you became intentional and loving?  I truly believe an experience happened yesterday because of all the beautiful, thoughtful and kind beings I have met and focusing on paying kindness forward.  I was meeting a very special person in Denver and after our meeting I had lost my keys in a mall.  I could not help but laugh so hard I am sure there are video cameras somewhere where they are laughing at me walking in circles laughing.

 I took a moment breathed, called my husband to giggle some more and made a choice.  I could focus on the discerning fact that this is the only key we own that can start my car and I will have to call a dealership to get a new one, the money, the time involved, blah blah blah. Or..... I could breath, stay calm and allow the warm and grounded feeling I actually had deep down.  Guess what happened?  I called security and they said someone had turned them in just moments ago to guest services.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!  Kind stranger for paying it forward, I am so grateful to YOU!!!!!  I turned in some sunglasses the other day in our office building and believe everything we do comes full circle so for those of you joining the project, pay good and kindness forward, do the right things in your life and always pay it forward.

Thornton, Colorado - Kind Stranger

I was at local retailer on Friday when I noticed a gentlemen who had been in line was waiting again in line by the time I got up to the cashier.  I had told him to go ahead of me and he said he would prefer to wait at the end.  He must have noticed the puzzled look on my face and said he did not want to embarrass the cashier who had forgotten to charge him for the most expensive item in his cart.  I told him that he had great Karma and that was a very kind thing to do.  He was so nice, he proceeded to tell me that most people are kind and good and would do the right thing.  I too agree with this, although there are many challenges and suffering in life I believe most people are good, it is in the face of ignorance that people make wrong decisions.  I did not have a bracelet with me so I am putting out to the universe that this thank you to the stranger I encountered will receive a kind thank you along his journey.  - Jennifer

I have had two significant kind souls share the following quote with me in the previous month.  It makes me think of how much of an impact one person can really have on another.  What if we we were conscious in every moment and encounter we had throughout our day.  What if we offered the best of who we are, our kindness, our light, I believe we could create harmony and peace to all livings things.  We could change the world to consider those without and educate those who don't understand, and love those we don't know.  I think this is what life is really about.
